In a short span, Tarangani situated in an enchanting scenario has made a remarkable progress in the Social and religious forefront. This Mandan formed by a group of Brahmins are well known for their hard work, unity and dedication. They hail from myriad background, work in an organized manner to promote religious’ beliefs and support their community and society. Under the able guidance of elders they involve themselves in promoting cultural activities.

The youth in a coordinated manner very beautifully sing and dance during the “Tulasi Sankeerthane”. Not only do they promote the age long tradition, they teach the same to the younger generation. This dance and melodious chanting depict the rich Indian tradition of the Tulu Nadu, which is really a visual treat. The youth perform this “Sankeerthane in various houses after the Diwali festival for a period of two months. Their skill in the flower decoration during “Naga Mandala and other festivals is noteworthy. They also encourage children to participate in various cultural activities and award them with prizes. The 114andali supports the neighborhood schools by encouraging the meritorious students and awarding them with cash prizes. Every year they conduct various cultural programs during new year and Diwali ,each event celebrated in a novel way. The Mandali not only associates itself in cultural activities but also extends a helping hand to the society by way of organizing Blood donation camps and creating social awareness. The past and the present Presidents & their team of dedicated members are doing yeoman service to the society and with a commitment to serve the society they are sure to achieve greater heights.
